WINGS & WHEELS
We were fortunate enough to be asked to coordinate children's activities for this traditional fundraising event. We provided a Bounce House for the children to jump around it. We also provided kits of a variety of model airplanes and cars for the kids to build and then paint. These were really a lot of fun. Plus, for the first time, we had a Spin Art activity. One by one, children dropped paint onto a spinning wheel and created all kinds of master pieces. Gisela Everitt and Ron Ghaffarian also stepped up to try their hand at face painting. They did an amazing job and created some real works of art.
As always, we couldn't do it without the volunteers including the committee members, Bobbie Platt, Kathy and Roy Sovoca, Ginny Gawthorpe, Joe Perog, Gisela Everitt, Celine Verdailes, Gail Rankin, Bob & Mary Colgan and others.
